La votazione è aperta. Quale canzone preferite tra:
e
(2) "The G.E. Moore Shift" (qui), scritta e suonata da The 21st Century Monads, ossia Carrie Jenkins (Nottingham), Ben Bradley e Kris McDaniel (entrambi a Syracuse).
Entrambe le canzoni sono splendide, ma il mio voto va a "The G.E. Moore Shift". Nessuna canzone, infatti, può batterne una che contiene il verso: "don't even try to modus ponens me; I'm gonna tollens you so hard!"
Torno a ballare!
Voto per la "drinking philosophers song" dei monty python, che fa così:
RispondiEliminaImmanuel Kant was a real pissant who was very rarely stable. Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar who could think you under the table.
David Hume could out-consume Wilhelm Friedrick Hegel.
And Wittgenstein was a beery swine who was just as schloshed as Schlegel.
There's nothin' Nietzsche couldn't teach ya 'bout the raisin' of the wrist.
Socrates, himself, was permanently pissed.
John Stewart Mill, of his own free will, on half a pint of shandy was particularly ill.
Plato, they say, could stick it away; half a crate of whiskey every day.
Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle.
Hobbes was fond of his dram. Rene Descartes was a drunken fart. "I drink therefore I am."
Yes, Socrates, himself, is particularly missed.
A lovely little thinker but a bugger when he's pissed.
Cantata è un'altra storia:

cantano con un finto accento austrialiano, right?
Comunque, per me "The G.E.Moore shift" resta la n°1.
"drinking philosophers song" è veramente stupenda!
RispondiEliminaThe Immanuel Kant song è quasi commovente...
